For gourmets, stop off at the market set up under the 19th-century halles. There’s also the Gabut district, with its colorful wooden houses opposite the old trawler basin, ideal for a coffee. You can opt for a siesta in the shade of the trees facing the sea, in front of the Médiathèque Michel Crépeau, or sip a drink aboard the France 1, an emblematic and historic boat, now docked.
For the curious, the town has plenty to offer in the way of museums and unusual discoveries: the Musée Maritime, the Cloître des Dames, the Tour de la Lanterne, etc.
