From June 20 to 23, the first-ever Maritime Festivals of La Rochelle invite locals and visitors to our historic city to celebrate the ocean! Come admire all the historic sailboats, classic yachts, and iconic ships moored along the city’s quays. Will you be one of the lucky winners of our contest? Thursday, June 20: the start of a major event in La Rochelle. For four days, hundreds of sailing boats, from the modest 4-meter-long ones to the spectacular ones stretching 60 meters from bow to stern, will be on display for the thousands of curious visitors expected on the pontoons of the Old Port and the quays of La Rochelle.
Among them, five legendary “Three-Masters” will open their doors and their prestigious interiors to those who reserve their time slot to feel like Jack Sparrow, Luffy, or even Captain Hook for a visit. As the exclusive accommodation partner of these Maritime Festivals, Cosy Hotels has created a special contest, offering 30 tickets to explore one of these splendid ships.
Also on the agenda for these festivities is a grand parade to kick off the “nautical ballet”! You are then invited to enjoy various activities, demonstrations, and exhibitions dedicated to the marine world for a moment of discovery and sharing.
On Sunday, June 23, the Grand Sea Banquet will gather hundreds of guests on the Place du Commandant de la Motte Rouge, just steps from our hotel. This unique and festive meal will be an opportunity for everyone to taste delicious seafood specialties from the nearby ocean, promoting local sourcing.
